Better team collaboration with Pigeonhole Live for Microsoft Teams

Written by Ashkvina | July 14, 2020

At Pigeonhole Live, we strive to make employee engagement and team collaboration simple, effective, and effortless for you. Today’s businesses rely on a host of platforms to support their teamwork and communication. From task management to everyday communication, from meetings to town halls, you need an arsenal of the right tools to ensure that your team has everything they need to perform their best. Isn’t it a dream when your tools work seamlessly together to support your team?

That’s why we’re excited to announce the Pigeonhole Live app in Microsoft Teams. Now you can run Q&As, Polls, and Quizzes in Microsoft Teams channels. You can also create Q&As without leaving Microsoft Teams!

Pigeonhole Live for Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is a chat-based team collaboration hub within Office 365. Besides it’s persistent chat functions, Teams supports video or audio calls, file sharing, and integrates with hundreds of other tools to provide you with a seamless experience.

Adding Pigeonhole Live into the mix, you can expand the range of collaboration you can get done within one space. Pigeonhole Live helps to add more structure and organisation to your brainstorming sessions, feedback, and even the occasional team bonding fun that you conduct on Microsoft Teams.

Add Pigeonhole Live as a tab in your Teams channel

Set up a Pigeonhole in your Workspace and add it as a tab in your Microsoft Teams channels and group chats.

Channel members can access live Q&As, Polls, and Quizzes within that Pigeonhole from the Pigeonhole Live tab in the channel.

Create Q&As without leaving Microsoft Teams

Use the Pigeonhole Live app to create Q&As within Microsoft Teams, go live immediately, and share it in your channel. Connect your Pigeonhole Live account to Microsoft Teams and create a Q&A session in just a few steps.

Boost interactivity and collaboration with your team

Crowdsource questions

Don’t let questions and discussions get derailed in a chat. Crowdsource questions within an organised space and allow channel members to vote and comment on questions to create organised conversation threads. Allow anonymity to create a safe space in your meetings and for more candid questions to surface. You can also download a detailed report of all the questions immediately after the session for your record.

Brainstorm ideas

Brainstorm ideas and vote on decisions easily even if you’re in different rooms with Open-ended polls. All your submissions and comments are captured neatly for you to refer to even after the session. You can also download a detailed report of all the submissions immediately after the session.

Get a pulse on your team

Checking in on your team regularly is crucial, especially when working remotely. However, certain sentiments are difficult to surface during 1-on-1s or openly in the channel chat. Running anonymous pulse polls and surveys regularly to collect feedback on your team’s well-being can go a long way in keeping everyone happy, motivated, and productive.

Compete together

Teams that compete together, thrive together! Quizzes are a great way to get your team to have fun together during work days or long meetings. Run quizzes with a real time leaderboard as icebreakers, during team bonding sessions, and even as a fun way to test your team’s knowledge on new products.
