Add Pigeonhole Live to Cisco Webex Meetings for Better Engagement

Written by Ashkvina | June 8, 2021

If you run team meetings, project sync-ups, and all hands meetings on Cisco Webex Meetings, adding Pigeonhole Live to the mix can make your meetings more interactive, engaging, and productive. Pigeonhole Live integrates seamlessly within the Cisco Webex Meeting platform to support and enrich your meeting discussions.

Using Pigeonhole Live in Webex Meetings

Collect questions ahead of meetings

Whether you’re running a project meeting or an all-hands, there are a lot of benefits to collecting attendee questions ahead of the meeting.

Firstly, you give your attendees time to think about and submit the questions they want to ask during the meeting, increasing the quality of questions submitted. Secondly, it cuts down the time wasted waiting for questions during the meeting.

At the same time, receiving attendee questions in advance gives meeting hosts or speakers time to gather necessary information and prepare their responses, so they can contribute to a fruitful discussion during the meeting or all-hands. As a result, you can expect productive discussions to take place during your meetings!

With Pigeonhole Live’s Q&A, you can share the Q&A session with your meeting attendees via email or any messaging platform to collect questions outside of the meeting. You can then add the same Q&A session into the side panel of your Webex meeting to ensure that the questions and votes are available for everyone to see and to continue submitting and voting on questions.

Run Q&As the way you want to

Pigeonhole Live Q&As are built with both attendees and meeting hosts in mind. As a meeting host, you have tons of settings and functions to run a Q&A the way you want to.

If you prefer your Q&As moderated, turn on moderation on the Pigeonhole Live Admin Panel. Only attendee questions that you have approved on the Admin Panel will be available for everyone to see.

You can also send private replies to questions, which can only be viewed by the attendee who asked the question. If you didn’t manage to address all the questions live, you can also choose to add text answers to questions. Attendees can view the answers anytime during or after the meeting.

Get feedback and make decisions confidently

We’re no strangers to checking on the consensus for a proposal or next steps and being met with silence from our meeting attendees. Sometimes, it can be difficult to get your attendees to un-mute their mic and speak up when asking for feedback.

By adding Pigeonhole Live’s multiple choice, scale polls, or open ended polls to the mix, you can do away with the awkward silences in your virtual meetings and get feedback or consensus more effectively whether it's rating an initiative or proposal, voting on a decision, or collecting suggestions for next steps. You not only get quick responses from your attendees, but all poll results can be exported neatly into an Excel file or a ready to print report if you need to write a post meeting report!

On top of that, you can also use the announcement feature on the Admin Panel to send reminders or prompts to your attendees to answer polls during the meeting, increasing the response rate for your polls.

Capture your teams best ideas

Collecting ideas and suggestions from your team throughout the project ensures that no good ideas are forgotten or lost in translation.

Use Pigeonhole Live to capture these ideas as they come by sharing an Open-ended poll or Word Cloud with your team via email, messaging platform, or your project management tool. Then, add the same Open-ended poll to your Webex meeting to bring those ideas live in your meeting discussions.

Inject fun into your meetings

Meetings don’t have to be all work and no play. You can easily inject some fun into your all-hands with trivia quizzes as an icebreaker or team bonding activity.

With Pigeonhole Live’s quiz you can engage your meeting attendees in a friendly competition. Attendees can easily view and answer questions in the side panel while watching the meeting video. As a meeting host, you can open the real-time quiz leaderboard in the Projector Panel and simply share your screen to show the live results of the quiz after every question.
